Day One:
Two words describe how I am feeling right now: Ecstatic and Nervous.
I cannot believe the love I have for this sport has brought me to this place and feeling right now. It has been my dream for as long as I know to become a Professional golfer and here I am today heading out to my very first professional competition. It is March 17th 2014 on a Monday morning. I board the QuickShuttle Bus from the River Rock Casino at 7:35 am to SeaTac Airport for my 2:20 pm flight to Orlando (with a layover in Chicago) with Southwest Airlines. It has been an interesting start as I have never taken a coach bus to cross the border. So many people trying to cross the border with as little time possible. It is very similar to an airport where we all get off and go through customs. This QuickShuttle is very convenient only costing about $48 to take me from Richmond directly to the SeaTac Airport! I am equipped with front row seating, wifi on board, a whole row to myself and a nice drive down to Seattle.

I arrived
at the Sea-Tac Airport having 3 hours to spare before my flight departs. I found myself sitting at a Starbucks
enjoying my Grande Matcha Green Tea Latte working the Pacific Golf Academy website and writing in my diary I now call my blog. I could get used to this life (besides the
waiting around part) and I am fully embracing every minute of it!
I am looking forward to some great warm and sunny weather :)
...
4 hours later.... not impressed.
My flight to Chicago (O'Hare) International airport was scheduled for 2:20 pm...It is now 3:25 pm and all of us passengers are still waiting at our gate waiting for technicians to repair seats on the plane!! I may miss my flight to Orlando...its been 8 hours since I've left my house and I am still in Seattle!!!
...
15 hours since I've left my house...stranded in Chicago!!!
Of all the luck in the world, I ended up boarding the plane in Seattle 2 hours after my scheduled flight time which resulted in missing my connecting flight from Chicago to Orlando. It is 12 midnight and my next flight leaves in 6 hours and I haven't eaten anything all day since lunch time. Time for my midnight lunch/dinner/snack....PIZZA!
Time for bed, good night world! Tomorrow is a new day and time to get some rest!
