Day 2

I had finally made it to Orlando… about 12 hours after my scheduled arrival.
After a trip that was only meant to take 15 hours ended up to be a trip that took 24! Oh well, that’s the travel life for you.  I came off the plane in Orlando wearing a hoodie, sweatpants and boots for warmth coming from Vancouver and headed straight to the golf course wearing a t-shirt and skirt.

Here I was in the land of Oranges:

Safe to say, it was a long day but was still able to manage an 18 hole practice round to scope out the golf course.  The course is in descent shape with the exception of the rough areas that are patchy and scattered with dirt.  The greens are narrow and sloped, running at about a 10 on the stimpmeter.  Some holes are very narrow and some fairly wide but there are definitely birdie holes that are awaiting.  Once I had completed my round, I registered for my first Symetra Tour event! I received my official tour card and took a few snapshots while out on the range:
